Sri Lanka’s mystery spinner, Lakshan Sandakan, impressed one and all with his display of spin bowling in the first Test match of the ongoing series between Sri Lanka and Australia. Sandakan showed great skills and maturity and bowled very patiently on a track which was offering help for spinners. He bowled in partnership with Rangana Herath and complimented him brilliantly from the other end.
During the match, on day 4, Sandakan bowled a delivery that spun a mile and stunned Australia’s Joe Burns. It came back with angle and crashed onto the stumps. Burns couldn’t believe the amount of spin Sandakan’s delivery generated off the surface. Watch it here:
