Cricket is a funny game and the West Indian cricketers are arguably the most funniest breed of cricketers. From doing “Gangnam dance” to taping their mouth, the Caribbean lads never fail to entertain us. West Indies all-rounder Marlon Samuels gave England all-rounder Ben Stokes an amazing send-off during the ongoing Test series between West Indies and England.

It looked as though Marlon Samuels was waiting for the moment. He was up and ready when Stokes fell prey to leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo. He stood in attention with his hands close to his fore-head, saluting Stokes as he walked past the West Indian after his dismissal.

“The Samuels salute was all right because it is banter and fun,” Geoffrey Boycott told BBC’s Test Match Special. “It is not punishable – it was funny.”

“Ben Stokes basically is battling himself because he’s just coming into cricket and I’ve been around for a while,” Samuels said at the time.

“It’s obvious the English boys don’t learn because whenever they talk to me I continue scoring runs. But they keep on talking, I guess they can’t help it. I kept on telling him that but I probably have to tell him something different because he’s not listening. He keeps talking to me but it keeps me motivated and keeps me batting,” Samuels said according to foxsports.com.au.
