Michael Clarke is one of the very few Australian batsmen who didn’t struggle much in the Indian conditions and scored runs on turning pitches in India, more often than not. Clarke had a very good technique against spin bowling and he made life difficult for spinners with his ability to use his feet and step down the wicket to counter the turn.

Now, Clarke has retired and he is a part of the commentary team for the ongoing 4-match Test series between India and Australia. Just like his batting, Clarke keeps things very simple in the commentary box, too.

On a day off in Bangalore, Michael Clarke learnt how to drive auto rickshaw aka ‘tuk tuk’. Clarke went on the streets of Bangalore and convinced an autowallah to teach him the art of driving auto rickshaw.

Bangalore is a very special place for Clarke because he made his Test debut there and scored a hundred. Clarke aka Pup scored a gritty 151 in the first innings against the likes of current bowling coach Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh in India’s bowling ranks.

Michael Clarke posted the video on Facebook which read: “Mastered the art of driving the tuk tuk ?Nice to be back in Bengaluru where it all started ?.”
