On Day 2 of the ongoing Test between India and England, India’s fast-bowler Mohammad Shami bowled an unplayable delivery to England’s captain Alastair Cook. Shami, who is one of the fastest bowlers in India, delivered an absolute jaffa that caught Cook stuck on his crease.
Shami’s ball pitched on the middle-stump and moved away from Cook to kiss the top of the off-stump. In fact, it just didn’t kiss the off-stump, it demolished it. The off-stump was broken into two parts and one part went 5 yards back cartwheeling towards the wicketkeeper.
England’s captain is always a big wicket, specially in India, where he holds a brilliant record. Cook, on his way back, also acknowledged Shami’s delivery. Watch it here:
