The second day of the ongoing Test match between Sri Lanka and India was full of action as India first piled on a huge score and then dismissed Sri Lanka for just 135 runs.

India’s swashbuckling all-rounder Hardik Pandya batted very aggressively and scored his maiden Test hundred. Pandya took some time initially but played in his trademark boom-boom style after reaching fifty runs.

A very touching moment happened during the day’s play when Ishant Sharma, who isn’t a part of the playing XI, gave a bottle of water to one of the ball boys and told him to give to Mohammed Shami, who was good 300 metres away from. The ball boy sprinted quickly towards Shami and passed the bottle to him. Shami was very impressed with little boy’s effort and gave him a warm hug.

Shami also troubled the Lankan top-order with his swing and pace. He moved the ball both ways at pace with the new cherry.

Shami is known as one of the most generous and kind cricketers and it was a great moment for the young ball boy who will never forget it in his life. @cricvids1 uploaded the video of his beautiful incident on Twitter and we have embedded here for you. Watch the video here:
