Rudra Pratap Singh will always be remembered by Indian cricket fans for his brilliant display of swing bowling in the inaugural edition of ICC World T20 in 2007.
It was a memorable tournament for India as a young side, which didn’t comprise of the big guns like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and others, played outstanding cricket and won the first ever ICC World T20 trophy.
In a group match between India and New Zealand, India’s fast bowler RP Singh bowled brilliantly and helped India win a crucial game. RP Singh bowled the last over and conceded only 5 runs and took a wicket, too.
RP Singh took the wicket of Daniel Vettori’s wicket, but Dhoni implemented 3 run-outs from behind the stumps as the Kiwi batsmen were looking for runs. Watch the video here:
