Since India lost out in the second T20 against the Kiwis at Rajkot the debate about Dhoni’s place in the T20 format became fierce. The Indian cricket fraternity seemed divided upon Dhoni’s place in the shortest format of the game.

While some former cricketers and cricket analysts opined that Dhoni should male way for youngsters and step down from T20s other side including the skipper, Virat and Ravi Shastri came to Dhoni’s defence.
The former cricketers like Ajit Agarkar and Akash Chopra who put forth a view that Dhoni’s place in T20s should be given to a youngster received great resentment by Dhoni fans and were badly trolled over the social media.
When Dhoni was asked about these differing views he simply said that everyone is entitled to an opinion and he respects that. Now when team India is hosting Sri Lanka for a test series MS Dhoni who has long ago said goodbye to Test Cricket is spending quality time with his beloved family.
Dhoni was seen celebrating Sakshi’s 29th Birthday and it seemed like a moment drenched in love. Dhoni is a family man and he perfectly knows how to balance out his cricket and family life.
In a video Tweet Dhoni was seen helping his wife cut the cake and then very sweetly making her eat it as she turns 29 today. This video defines a perfect family moment. It’s been a long home season and Dhoni finally has some time to spend with his family and pets back home and he’s making the full use of it.
After the ongoing test series with Sri Lanka comes to an end Dhoni will return to play the limited overs encounters between the two neighbours. We too extend birthday wishes to the lucky lady, Madam Dhoni!
