VIDEO: MS Dhoni couldn’t stop laughing at Bumrah’s style of running-out Morgan

Eoin Morgan’s wicket was one of the turning points in the second ODI between India and England in Cuttack. Morgan was hitting the ball so well and his presence till the end might have changed the final result of the game. Morgan played aggressively right from the word go and smashed a brilliant hundred, keeping England in the game till the time was present at the crease.

Morgan was at non-striker’s end when Bumrah bowled a off-side yorker to Liam Plunkett. The nature of the ball was such that Plunkett could only hit it back to Jasprit Bumrah, who collected the ball and ran Morgan out. The priced wicket of Morgan was claimed but MS Dhoni couldn’t laughing at the way in which Bumrah dismissed Morgan. He could have easily dislodged the stumps but instead, he took an aim and threw hard at the stumps.

In the GIF shared below, which has been embedded from Hotter, you can see Dhoni signalling to Bumrah that he should have just walked and dislodged the stumps. Watch it here:
