Earlier this month, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni returned home from a trip to the USA where he enjoyed his vacation with his family and friends.
A few videos of the former India skipper meeting with some fans in Ranchi have gone viral. Among them, one video that the fans have taken note is Mahendra Singh Dhoni driving a car with somebody in the passenger seat.
However, this has gone viral for other reasons: fans have been tagging Jharkhand and Ranchi police in this video involving Mahendra Singh Dhoni because the person in the passenger seat didn’t wear his seatbelt!
The 42-year-old Dhoni went for a car drive with whom seems to be his friend. This person recorded a video with the Thala smiling heartily. But little idea did both of them had that fans would find a new, heated topic of discussion for this video.
Netizens observed that while Dhoni adhered to the rules and was wearing a seatbelt, the passenger seat person didn’t tie his seatbelt.

The 42-year-old is preparing for his return to the IPL next year.
After leading CSK to their 5th IPL title in IPL 2023, Dhoni went under the knife for a knee surgery straightaway. He had carried that knee injury throughout the IPL this year. He battled with a knee problem throughout the IPL 2023 but still he didn’t miss a single game.
After the surgery, Dhoni was quick to be back in the gym for his rehab, and now these pictures from the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi gave delight to Dhoni and CSK’s fans as he’s back in the nets as well. The CSK skipper himself had confirmed earlier that he would like to play another season in the IPL.
