There was a very funny moment in the third ODI between India and England at the Eden Gardens, when India’s captain Virat Kohli asked for a review without consulting MS Dhoni and it turned out be an unsuccessful review. Dhoni kept suggesting Kohli that he shouldn’t but Kohli was too excited about it and asked for a review straight away.

You can see in the GIF shared below that Virat Kohli kept signalling Kohli but Kohli was too positive about it. In the first and second ODI, we saw MS Dhoni taking reviews without suggesting Kohli and all of them were successful. But when Kohli asked for the review and Dhoni knew it wasn’t out, he had a very funny smile on his face.

Jasprit Bumrah bowled a good delivery to Eoin Morgan that swung away from his bat. Dhoni didn’t appeal but Kohli, who was standing at first slip, felt that he heard something and appealed very aggressively.

So, the bottom line remains that MS Dhoni is the real boss of DRS and Virat Kohli must consult him before asking of reviews. Watch it here:
