India’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is one of the best fielders in world cricket. He is a very versatile fielder who can field at any position on a cricket field. Over the years, we have seen Jadeja execute some of the most unbelievable run-outs and take outstanding catches. It is true that he has evolved as all-all-rounder in the last 2 years or so, but as far as fielding is concerned, he was always a very good fielder. He has very clean hands and a very strong shoulder. His ability to pick up the ball and release it no time makes him one of the most dangerous fielders to take on.

During India’s opening match of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 against Pakistan, Ravindra Jadeja executed one of the best run-outs you will ever see. Fielding at point, he first made a good effort to collect that ball and then released it without wasting anytime whatsoever, straight onto the stumps.

It happened in the 24th over of Pakistan’s innings, when Malik sliced Umesh Yadav‘s delivery to the left of backward point and set off for a single. Malik was sent back by his partner Mohammad Hafeez but he couldn’t reach the crease because Jadeja hit the stumps bang on and Malik was found way short off his mark. Watch it here:
