Rishabh Pant is one of the most exciting young emerging cricketers in India. He plays domestic cricket for Delhi and has impressed one and all with aggressive style of batting. Pant has been a consistent scorer for Delhi at the domestic level in the recent past.

In the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2017), Rishabh Pant played some spectacular match-winning innings for Delhi Daredevils. Although, Pant has been performing brilliantly at the domestic level, majority of cricket fans in India noticed his talent during the IPL 2017.

Pant is a very free flowing stroke maker and he backs himself even when the chips are down. He doesn’t go in a shell under pressure, rather he plays his A game and tries to put the pressure back on the opposition with his counter-attacking batting.

Pant, who is now a part of India’s team for ongoing series against West Indies, first came to limelight when he smashed the fastest fifty in ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2016, against Nepal. Rishabh Pant hit a whirlwind 78 off 24 balls and demolished Nepal to register a thumping win in the group stage. The young batter raced to his half-century in just 18 deliveries

Pant smashed five sixes and nine boundaries, adding 124 for the first wicket with captain Ishan Kishan (52) in just 9.1 overs as India chased down Nepal’s 169/8 in the 19th over of the innings.  Watch his fastest fifty here:
