Rohit Sharma played a brilliant knock against Australia in the first ODI at the WACA. Sharma, who scored his 9th ODI century, also became the fastest batsman to score 1000 ODI runs against Australia (19 innings), beating Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 20 innings. In his innings of 170* runs off 162 balls Rohit Sharma played many brilliant shots and enthralled the big crowd in the stadium. Rohit was well supported by Virat Kohli, who scored 91 runs.
