There are only two methods of bowling in international cricket; either you can be a fast-bowler or a spinner. The variations in each of these two basic methods are numerous but you will never hear that a fast-bowler bowled spin or a spinner bowled fast.
However, Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi seemed to have found a middle way, when he was opening the bowling against India in the fourth innings of a test match which was heading towards a draw, The right hander started bowling fast instead of his natural leg spin.
Shahid Afridi completed one full over bolwing fast, constantly bowling bouncers above 120km/ph on a extremely dead pitch where Pakistan had earlier scored 603 and 490 runs in their innings while India had reached 588 in their first inning. The batsmen facing this epic moment were Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman.
