As they say, ONCE A CRICKETER, ALWAYS A CRICKETER!

Shane Warne, the legendary Australian spinner, who was present in the crowd during an Australian Open match bewtween Roger Federer and Andy Murray, discovered, when he caught a mis-hit by Roger Federer during the 4th set, at Rod Laver Arena, in the Australian Open. Shane Warne, who was sitting court-side for the epic men’s semi-final showdown, pulled off a very classy catch when Roger Federer miscued, sending the ball into the crowd during the fourth set. A Roger Federer mis-hit headed straight for the stands where Shane Warne put his skills to the test.

To take the catch, the 43-year-old leaned over the barriers and plucked it from the air. While Roger Federer was chasing a lob from Andy Murray, the ball hit the frame of his racket or as they say in Cricket, took the leading edge and flew up in the air.

In cricketing terms, this can be written as:

Roger Federer c Shane Warne b Andy Murray

Shane Warne received a chorus of cheers for his crafty catch and the 43-year-old appeared to enjoy the moment, sharing a joke with his friend. We all know that Shane Warne is never far away from the action, even at the tennis. But, this is one is very exciting as the ball came straight down his throat and Shane Warne pulled off a very classy catch. What are the odds that the ball would get hit right to Australia’s champion cricketer during a tennis match and he would pull off a great catch and grab it? It wasn’t an easy catch, he had to lean over the rail to grab it.
