VIDEO: Shikhar Dhawan’s Blistering Hundred Against Sri Lanka

India’s opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan played one of the most destructive Test innings you would ever see. Initially, Dhawan wasn’t a part of India’s Test squad for the tour of Sri Lanka, but an injury to Murali Vijay forced the selectors to bring him back.

Dhawan, who has been in brilliant run-scoring form off late, didn’t disappoint the selectors and played a breathtaking knock to announce his comeback to Test cricket. Dhawan started scoring runs right from the first delivery and continued doing that throughout his innings.

In his destructive knock, Dhawan broke many records and entertained cricket fans across the world with his authoritative batting. Dhawan, after scoring 126 runs in the second session, became only the third player to score 100 runs twice in one session after Sir Don Bradman and Virender Sehwag.

Dhawan scored 190 runs off 168 balls. He smashed 31 boundaries in his innings and smashed Sri Lankan bowlers all around the park. Watch his outstanding innings here:
