[VIDEO] Shreyas Iyer's Reaction After His Century In Indore
Shreyas Iyer, the Indian batsman, became a real cricketing phenomenon during the second ODI match between India and Australia. His blistering century in Indore, which was a batting paradise, stunned the cricketing world. The cricketing world was rocked by India’s extraordinary performance, which drove them to a commanding position in the game.
India was given the honour of batting first to start the match. India’s opening batter, Ruturaj Gaikwad, was dismissed by the shrewd Josh Hazlewood early on. Shreyas Iyer had to come through for the team after they suffered an early setback. In this series, Iyer has been the subject of intense scrutiny and pressure.
Iyer failed to make an impression in the first meeting in Mohali, being run out after scoring just three runs. His lacklustre showing has cast serious doubt on his selection to India’s starting XI for their World Cup opener against Australia. His hopes of winning were hanging by a thread after Mohali.
Shreyas Iyer showed remarkable perseverance and drive in the face of rising pressure and the lingering recollection of his earlier dismissal. With an assortment of superb shots, he attacked the Australian pacers and left them flummoxed. His century was a lesson in cricketing elegance and stroke technique.
Iyer smashed the Australian bowlers for eleven boundaries and three majestic sixes throughout his long innings. His awareness of open space and shot selection were superb. Fans of the sport were treated to a spectacular exhibition of batting skill.

Cricket fans and experts were on the brink of a frenzy as Iyer approached his century. But just like in real life, cricket has its share of difficulties. Iyer struggled with fatigue and cramping in the final stages of his innings. He showed tremendous fortitude and perseverance by pushing through the pain and continuing on.
The crowd at Holkar Stadium cheered wildly as he achieved his century. It was a stroke of genius in cricket. However, Iyer’s innings ended abruptly after he reached this landmark when he was dismissed by Sean Abbott. The Indian crowd’s enthusiasm was not dampened by his departure from the crease since they had just seen a genuinely amazing performance.
