Team India registred a thumping victory in the fourth Test of the ongoing 5-match series against England, at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. When Alastair Cook won the toss many thought it will be a difficult match for India, but captain Kohli batted brilliantly, scored his third double-hundred in Test cricket and India won the Test match by an innings and 36 runs.
India have now taken a 3-0 lead and sealed the series with one more Test match to go. After winning the fourth Test at the Wankhede stadium, Team India took a victory lap around the Wankhede stadium and thanked the people of Mumbai for turning out in good numbers and supporting Test cricket in India. The attendance at Wankhede stadium on was in excess of 20,000 on Saturday and Sunday.
With this win, India have sent a very strong message to world cricket. After whitewashing New Zealand, India have outplayed India in the last 3 matches and now, there is a common view that India are the most difficult side to beat at home. Watch Team India’s victory lap at Wankhede stadium here:
