This is one of the most destructive knocks ever played by Sachin Tendulkar. He batted with a lot of aggression and smashed 72 runs off just 27 balls.

Here’s important to note that there was a designated ‘Max zone’ on the ground behind the bowler, which the batsman could aim for to get the runs counted on that shot doubled. Sachin hit two 8s and one 12-run hit in that area.

It wasn’t the usual ODI match. Before this match, Sachin Tendulkar had never played the format before, but he took time in adjusting to its need and played a very destructive innings. India eventually lost the match by 21 runs after Andre Adams triggered a batting collapse in India’s 2nd innings.
