Team India celebrated fast bowler Umesh Yadav’s birthday in style, in the team hotel in Ranchi ahead of the fourth One Day International of the ongoing series against New Zealand.
Umesh Yadav is arguably the fastest bowler in India and he is leading the young fast bowling unit of Team India in this series. He has bowled well with the new ball in the series and taken important wickets with the new ball.
Yadav has had an interesting career with India so far, with so many ups and downs. His strength is his ability to swing the ball both ways at a good pace. But this biggest criticism has been the lack of consistency and fitness issues. In the series, Yadav has looked much more consistent than before and has shown great commitment on the field, which means he has worked hard on his fitness, too.
The Indian Cricket Team celebrated Umesh Yadav’s birthday in their customary style, by giving a good cake massage to him. All the cricketers from the current Indian squad got together to wish Umesh Yadav a happy birthday. Watch the video here:
