India vs Australia 2017, second Test, Bangalore: It was once again a tough day in the middle for Team India in the ongoing 4-match Test series against Australia. Indian bowlers tried hard to break Aussie’s defence but they could only manage to take 6 wickets in the day. The Aussie batters showed a lot of resistance and managed to negotiate the day with a lead of 48 runs with 4 wickets still remaining in the innings.

India’s skipper Virat Kohli was animated as ever and he kept pushing his boys to give their best. Kohli plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Bangalore is more of a home ground for him. During the day’s play, Kohli kept encouraging the big crowd at Chinnaswamy stadium to get behind the team.

In the 80th over, just before the Tea break, an animated Kohli urged Bengaluru crowd to get loud. The Bangalore didn’t let their skipper down and shouted at the top of their voice to show their support. Ishant Sharma also ran hard and with crowd’s support behind him, he was able to get a breakthrough by taking Mitchell Marsh’s wicket. It was indeed one of the best moments of the day. Watch it here:
