Born in Patna but representing Jharkhand, Ishan Kishan represents a new breed of Indian batsmen – aggressive, fearless and technically sound. Still only 19 years old, Kishan has played plenty of special innings in his still nascent career and is earmarked for success later on.

Ishan has some fantastic attributes that help him play his game the right way. He has a solid temperament to go with his attractive stroke play. He can play all around the park as shown in this video.

Powerful hitter:

Kishan is a powerful hitter of the ball and has the ability to make the ball soar far over the boundaries. The Jharkhand batsman was also included in the Gujarat Lions setup for the IPL and looks promising as a future great.

Being from the state that Dhoni is from, comparisons are normal. He is also a wicket-keeper and the similarities are all too familiar.

It won’t be long before Kishan will be seriously considered to be a part of the Indian team as he is brimming with confidence and talent. The sooner he works on some parts of his technique and plays at a top, consistent level, the faster will we see him donning the Indian colours. Watch one of Ishan Kishan’s best knock here:
