In Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), the match Dindigul Dragons and Chepauk Super Gillies had a controversial moment when two young cricketers got into an ugly in-field fight.
It happened when Dragons’ opening batsman N. Jagadeesan and Gilliers’ bowler R. Sai Kishore got involved in an ugly on-field fight. First both the players exchanged few heated words and then suddenly, Sai Kishore pushed Jagdeesan. Ravichandran Ashwin, who was the non striker, came in between and tried to calm down the situation. Ashwin also showed some anger towards Sai Kishore by using his bat to separate both the players.
Seeing a player of Ravichandran Ashwin’s stature, Sai Kishore quickly moved away and the play was resumed. Watch it here:
