Umar Akmal played a sensational innings against St. Lucia Zouks in CPL T20 2016 to take TKR to a win with one over to spare. He hit as many as seven sixes and three fours in his knock of unbeaten 73 off just 35 deliveries. TKR were in deep trouble at 63 for 5 in the 10th over, but a 51-run stand between Akmal and Anton Devcich brought them back into the game. Akmal also got good support from Sunil Narine down the order, who managed to hit a couple of sixes to relieve the pressure. Akmal batted brilliantly and brought back TKR back in the game in style.
