Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja, Getting Ready For Big Spin Challenge – India’s preparations are going strong for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023, and the following World Cup 2023 tournaments. The Indian cricketers who are set to travel to Sri Lanka, where the Men In Blue will play their Asia Cup matches, are currently undergoing a 6-day training and fitness camp at KSCA’s facility in Alur in Bangalore.

After strength training and a yo-yo test on Day 1 of the camp, on Days 2 and 3, the Indian batters hit the nets for batting practice.

The Indian cricketers were divided into groups of two and went through match simulations to get the feel of the ODI matches. After the match simulations, some of the batsmen also had batting practice facing some net bowlers.

A video has gone viral on social media in which senior batter Virat Kohli and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja are seen batting together. Both the batsmen faced a right-arm off-spinner and a left-arm orthodox.

They will come up against the best spinners in the Asia Cup in the upcoming tournament. Where Pakistan have the spin trio of Shadab Khan, Usama Mir, and Mohammad Nawaz, Sri Lanka will be equipped with the trio of Dhananjaya de Silva, Maheesh Theekshana, and Wanindu Hasaranga; Bangladesh have the potent spin troika of Shakib Al Hasan, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Taijul Islam.
