The moment Kohli reached his fifty against Pakistan in the ICC World T20, he waved his bat to Sachin Tendulkar in the stands and bowed to him. In the post match interview with the broadcaster, Kohli was asked about the moment and he elaborated.
“I have watched him [Tendulkar] do this for India as a child and now to do this in front of him and 90,000 people in a tournament like this against Pakistan; it is a special feeling which cannot be described. He was happy and cheering for India. The feeling is just not describable,” Kohli said.
