The Indian skipper Virat Kohli played a captain’s knock as he played a powerful knock in the ongoing third T20I against England on Tuesday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Team India was reeling at 20/2 when Virat Kohli walked out to bat and the Indian skipper picked up where he left off in Ind vs Eng 2nd T20I match and took the match by storm. He walked in with all-guns-blazing and brought momentum back to the game.

Kohli, who was at the receiving end of criticism because of his form for a long time now, scored his second consecutive fifty. He remained unbeaten till the last ball of India’s innings as he played a captain’s knock by scoring 77 runs off 46 balls, smashing 8 fours and 4 sixes to help team India reach a total of 156 for six in 20 overs.

During his knock, Virat mesmerized everyone as he played some exotic shots and smashed the England bowlers all around the ground.

He was so good throughout his knock that it’s hard to pick one particular shot from his impeccable innings. However, some of the best shots came during Mark Wood’s over. Mark Wood was streaming in when Kohli picked him without moving his feet to hit the batt over long-off and it was perfection. The Indian skipper smashed back-to-back sixes during a phase of glorious batting that saw him score 49 off 17 balls. One of the shots of his knock was a straight six off Wood, which made Wood take his time to finish the over
