India’s tour of Sri Lanka (2017) will be regarded as one of the most one-sided tours in cricket history. Virat Kohli led Team India outclassed Sri Lanka in all three departments of the game and made them look ordinary in their own backyard.

Throughout the long tour, India played dominating cricket and stamped their authority against a young Sri Lankan side.

Indian cricket team played as a unit and almost every player made a contribution, which is the most heartening thing for Indian cricket fans. India are also a young side but they showed a lot of character and maturity in the middle.

The likes of Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and others, expressed themselves freely in the middle and, for this, a lot of credit goes to Virat Kohli, who always allows his teammates to play their natural game.

Virat Kohli is a very aggressive and expressive leader. He plays the game with a lot of passion and gives his best on every single delivery. He is someone who likes taking the centre seat and staying in action. But, sometimes, he gets too carried away as well.

In the one-off T20I against Sri Lanka on Wednesday, Virat Kohli showed disappointment over umpire’s decision his good old style. First, me made a very loud appeal and when the umpire didn’t give it in India’s favour, he was seen foul-mouthing.

The incident happened on the third ball of the 15th over.  Axar Patel’s bowled a foolish delivery to Seekkuge Prasanna, who attempted a drive but edged it straight into the hands of MS Dhoni, who took a clean catch. All the close in fielders made a loud appeal and Kohli increased the tempo even further by looking towards the umpire and appealing at the top of his voice.

But, the umpire remained unmoved and this made Indian skipper Virat Kohli very angry and in a video posted by a fan on Twitter, he was seen foul mouthing.
