The war of words between India’s captain Virat Kohli and England’s all-rounder Ben Stokes started when both the gentlemen exchanged a few heated words after Stokes’ dismissal in the first innings of the ongoing third Test between India and England.
Later, when Stokes dismissed Kohli he responded by putting his hands on mouth after he was reprimanded by ICC for his behaviour.
Today, on the third day of the Mohali Test, Ravichandran Ashwin trapped Stokes in front, and despite umpire’s denial, Indian team successfully reviewed to send the English batsman back.
Then and there, Kohli, without wasting any second, imitated Stoke’s gesture by putting his fingers to his lips. Here’s the VIDEO, courtesy to the uploader:
