Looks like India has found a new leg spinner in the team. Virat Kohli whose batting accomplishments need no introduction was seen practicing leg spin bowling in the nets ahead of the much-anticipated India-Pakistan encounter.
Virat who has sparingly bowled throughout his career in fact looked quite comfortable bowling leg spin. Virat who can sneak in with a tidy spell of medium pace bowling last bowled at the semifinal of the 2016 World T20, though India lost the match by a narrow margin. He took a wicket of the very first ball he bowled that day but couldn’t prevent West Indies from crossing the line after he was asked to bowl the last over.
This time Virat has tried to master the art of leg spin bowling. Ahead of India’s encounter with our arch rival Pakistan, the BCCI’s official Twitter handle posted a short clip of the skipper bowling in the nets. The BCCI’s tweeted the short video along with the captain:
