VIDEO: Virat Kohli’s reaction to Cheteshwar Pujara’s six is simply awesome

Cheteshwar Pujara is an old school batsman, who works very hard in the nets and doesn’t hit too many arial strokes in Test cricket. Pujara is technically very strong and this is the reason he bats at the all-important number 3 position in Test cricket.

In the one-off Test match between India and Bangladesh (2017), Bangladeshi fast bowler Taskin Ahmed tried to test Pujara’s technique by bowling short-pitches deliveries. But, Pujara, who has a very defensive technique, played a very aggressive pull stroke that went all the way for a six. Virat Kohli, who was standing at the other, was very impressed with Pujara’s stroke and applauded it in a very passionate way.

Kohli is someone who enjoys his teammates’ success as much as he enjoys his own. He was watching the contest between Pujara and Taskin from the non-striker’s end, and he applauded his teammate’s aggression with equal aggression from his side. Watch it here:
