VIDEO: Virat Kohli’s unlucky dismissal in the first innings

India’s chances in the First Test against England suffered a huge blow when India’s ace batsman Virat Kohli was dismissed in a very unusual and unlucky manner.

India started the day at 319 for the loss of four wickets. Virat Kohli along with Ajinkya Rahane, batted very positively and quickly added 30 runs. But, Ajinkya Rahane was clean bowled by youngester Zafar Ansari. A few balls later, Indian Captain Virat Kohli got out, you, but in a very unfortunate manner. Virat Kohli tried to pull a shortish ball by Adil Rashid and his back foot touched the stumps and the bails came down. It was a very unlucky way of getting dismissed as he successfully pulled the ball to mid-wicket but his blackfoot went too back and disturbed the timber. England’s wicketkepper Jonny Bairstow was first to one notice this mistake and appealed. Once, this decision was referred to the third umpire, the Indian Captain was declared OUT hit wicket.
