Virender Sehwag is one of the most destructive batsmen in the history of cricket. Sehwag’s biggest strength was the pace at which he used to score runs against the new ball during his peak. Batting at the top of the order, Sehwag gave many explosive starts and provided the perfect platform for an experienced middle-order to make big totals and chase big targets. It is true that Virender Sehwag is one of the most explosive batsmen in the history of cricket, scoring 21 runs off two legal deliveries is a bit too much even by his standards.

In a One Day International (ODI) match between India and Pakistan, Virender Sehwag took 21 runs off two balls in the 11th over of the match which was bowled by Naved-ul-Hasan. While Sehwag didn’t exactly score all 21 runs off his own bat, his presence at the crease was too intimidating for Rana Naved-ul-Hasan as he completely lost the plot.
