In a Test match between India and Australia (1999), Australia’s ace fast bowler Glenn McGrath bowled one a cracking bouncer to India’s VVS Laxman, that hit on his head and brought him down. Laxman, who was opening the innings for India, acknowledged McGrath’s cracking delivery and got up to face the next ball. As expected, McGrath bowled a full length delivery and Laxman, who had anticipated a full ball, took a good stride forward and played a classical cover drive that went the pass covers fielder and smashed straight into the advertising boards.
