Yuvraj Singh batted brilliantly in his comeback game for India, in the first warm-up match against England at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai. Yuvraj came out to bat at number 4 and took some time in the first phase of his innings. He struggled to rotate the strike and put the ball away. But, the moment he got his eyes in, he smashed English bowlers all around the park and made batting look easy, once again.

Yuvraj Singh batted for 48 balls and scored 56 runs. Batting at a strike rate of 116.66, Yuvraj smashed 6 fours and 2 sixes in his innings. We all know that Yuvraj Singh is a very attractive batsman to watch and he played some delightful strokes in this innings as well. He played strokes all around the park and didn’t let English spinner settle while he was on stroke.

There was one stroke he played off Adil Rashid’s bowling which was the best of the lot. Rashid bowled a flighted delivery and Yuvraj stepped out and played a lovely looking lofted straight drive over umpire’s head for a six. It was a stroke that turned the clock and reminded fans of the young Yuvraj Singh, who made batting look ridiculously easy with his grace and class. Watch it here:
