Zaheer Khan is one of the best fast bowlers India has ever produced. During his playing days, Zaheer was a great exponent of swing and seam and he spearheaded India’s bowling unit for a very long period. Zaheer was equally effective across all three formats of the game. Many believe that his best came in Test cricket, but Zaheer, with his crafty bowling and disciplined approach, was very effective in limited-overs cricket, too.

In the video shared below(IPL 2015), Zaheer Khan foxes Brendon McCullum with his disciplined fast bowling. Zaheer kept bowling outside the off-stump with subtle variation in pace and length and McCullum couldn’t get him away. Zaheer bowled 5 dot balls and this created pressure of McCullum to put the last away. Zaheer knew McCullum would look to clear the field and he bowled a full delivery just outside the off stump. Mccollum tried to hit it over mid-off but couldn’t clear the fielder and it went straight into the hands of JP Dumminy. Watch it here:
