Virat Kohli And Hardik Pandya Also Breached Covid-19 Protocol

On the New year, the five Indian players were reported for breaching the Covid-19 protocols. They breached the guidelines when they went out for the dinner in a hotel at Melbourne. A fan posted the video on the Twitter, writing about the complete incident.

The fan wrote that he hugged Pant in the hotel, which he denied the next day. This post went viral and the allegations of players breaching the protocol were imposed. They were isolated separately from the squad and are reportedly set to fly together with the complete squad.

Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya Also Violated The Guidelines:

While this incident is yet to settle down completely, another issue has taken the center stage now. The Indian Captain, Virat Kohli and the batting all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, have reportedly been seen violating the protocol. They went to a toy shop without taking the safety precautions like wearing masks.

This took place during India’s limited-overs leg in December. The duo went to the store on 7 December, before the start of the third T20I. Here’s the Instagram Post from the store:

The post reads, “We had some very special visitors in our new store today!! @virat.kohli & @hardikpandya93 ? Wishing Virat and @anushkasharma all the best for the safe & happy arrival of their first baby! BV x.”

They posed with one of their fan at the shop, breaching the guidelines of Covid-19. Hardik Pandya, who became a father in the July and Virat Kohli, who is expecting his first baby in January, went to the store after winning the T20I series. As it was considered as a minor breach only, this wasn’t taken seriously by the Cricket Australia.

This event came in the limelight after that hotel incident at Melbourne. The bio-bubble has always been tough for the players, both physically and mentally. The Men in Blue will play the third Test on 7 January, with the series levelled with 1-1.
