Virat Kohli Breaks Earning Records As He Charges Huge Amount Per Instagram Post

Former Indian captain and batting maestro Virat Kohli is one of the biggest names in the cricket world. The superstar batter has shattered various records on the cricket field and now he is breaking records off the field as well. Kohli’s social media following has soared in the past couple of years. He is followed by 50.4 million users on Twitter and is the only Indian to be followed by more than 200 million users on Instagram. He has more than 49 million Facebook users who like his page.

Virat Kohli’s massive fan following on social media has seen him make some huge monetary gains. And now the star batter has shattered earning records.

Well, according to a report by Hopper HQ Social, Virat Kohli has started charging 8 Crore PER INSTAGRAM post. He is World’s 4 most costly and most followed sportsperson on Instagram behind Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi & Neymar. 

The Delhi-born player is the only Asian in the top 20 list. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is the next Indian celebrity in the list at the 27th spot. Virat Kohli is the only cricketer on this elite list.

Football star Cristiano Ronaldo tops this list. He is the only celebrity to be followed by more than 400 million users on Instagram. He  charges $ 2,397,000 (Rs 19 crore approx) per post. Followed by him is Lionel Messi, who is at the 3rd spot and charges  $ 1777000 (Rs 14 crore approx) per post. Virat Kohli is at the 4th spot among other sports personalities on this list.

Talking about his professional front, Virat Kohli is currently gearing up for the upcoming 2022 T20 World Cup, to be played in Australia. After the last two T20Is against South Africa, the Indian cricket team will leave for Australia for the ICC event. Kohli recently bounced back into his form and also registered his much-awaited 71st century during the Asia Cup 2022.
