Virat smashed the West Indies’ bowlers to all the corners of the ground and helped his team score a mammoth total of 240 runs as a target for West Indies. He hammered 70 runs in just 29 balls, smashing 7 sixes and 4 fours.

In the post-match ceremony, Virat Kohli dedicated the series win to his wife Anushka Sharma. Calling the series win as his “special win”, Virat Kohli said:
“It was a pretty special innings and also being our second wedding anniversary, it was a special gift. It was a special night and one of the best innings I have played,”
The Indian skipper also praised KL Rahul, who gave a thrilling performance last night. KL Rahul made everyone sit on the edge of their seats with his thrilling knock of 91 runs, he smashed 9 fours and 4 sixes. Praising his knock, Kohli said:
“We had spoken a lot. It was about going out on the field and executing. I had the opportunity to do something different, which I don’t usually do. I told KL to stay on till the end, and said I’ll try and smash a few,”
