Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli hailed England’s skipper Ben Stokes after his batting heroics in the second Test match at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on Sunday. Ben Stokes played a magnificent knock to keep England in the game, however, all his heroics went in vain as the team lost the game by 43 runs.

Stokes walked out to bat when his side lost four quick wickets and found themselves reeling at 45/4 while chasing the target of 371 runs. However, he kept calm and displayed some stunning shots.

He formed a brilliant 132-run partnership with Ben Duckett (83) but soon England lost the wickets of Duckett and Jonny Bairstow, the all-rounder accelerated his innings and started attacking the Australian bowlers to all the corners of the iconic Lords.
