Virat Kohli Hails Team India For Great Display On Day1 Of 2nd Test : It was a great day for the Ajinkya Rahane led team India at work as they bowled out Australia for 195 runs on the Boxing-day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The bowling line-up led by Jasprit Bumrah, who picked up 4 wickets, managed to pick wickets at regular intervals and also restricted the run-flow of the Aussies.
Jasprit Bumrah was well supported by Ravichandran Ashwin, who picked three wickets and returned with figures of 35/3, and debutant Umesh Yadav, who picked 2 wickets.
Later during India’s innings, the team lost their opener, Mayank Agarwal, in the first over itself but debutant Shubman Gill weathered the storm and remained unbeaten at 28 runs to take team India to 36/1 at the end of day’s play.
