Virat Kohli has a very special message for PV Sindhu ahead of her final match at Rio Olympics

As soon as India’s PV Sindhu stormed into the final of women’s singles competition at the Rio Olympics after beating Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara in straight sets. As soon as Sindhu played the winnings smash, wishes came pouring in from celebrities, politicians, sportsperson and Indians living in India and across the world. Sindhu will now battle for Gold in the final of women’s badminton event. India’s Test captain Virat Kohli recorded a very special message for PV Sindhu and uploaded it on his social media profiles. Kohli congratulated Sindhu on sealing the bronze medal for India and assured that even if she loses, the country is already proud of her.

“Hi PV Sindhu, I want to congratulate you for guaranteeing India its first silver medal at (Rio) Olympics. You have made the country so so proud. Tomorrow it is going to be an epic battle. It is going to be an epic clash.

“So, I wish you all the best, all the way from here in the West Indies. I hope you bring gold for the country but nonetheless whatever happens you are a champion. And I send you all the power and all the wishes. Good luck to you. Jai Hind,” Kohli said.
