Virat Kohli Has Won Many Hearts With His Reaction To Ravindra Jadeja’s Hundred

Virat Kohli Has Won Many Hearts With His Reaction: Ravindra Jadeja brought up his third Test century, and perhaps his best one, with a slash to a short and wide outside off stump delivery from Stuart Broad on the morning of Day 2 of the ongoing Edgbaston Test.

Jadeja’s century – a knock of 104 runs and his partnership of 222 with the other centurion, Rishabh Pant – helped India’s total to 375 when the all-rounder was dismissed, before skipper Jasprit Bumrah’s scintillating innings of 31 runs from just 16 balls took the eventual total to 416.

Virat Kohli’s celebration of Jadeja’s century

As soon as Jadeja cut Broad into the vacant deep offside region, he fist-pumped himself realizing that he has reached the milestone. The famous sword celebration came on next followed by the removal of his helmet and raising of hands, soaking in all the applause from an applauding Edgbaston crowd and a cheerful Indian dugout where the happiness on Virat Kohli’s face shined apart.

Kohli was already standing when Jadeja was on 96 and was the first one to revel in the motions as the left-hander smashed the boundary. Coming down a couple of steps, Kohli was as pumped as he is always, cheering with both his hands in the air for Jadeja’s hundred.

Reaction of Virat Kohli Has Gone Viral. Watch The Video:

Jadeja had come in to bat with India tottering at the score of 98/5 on the morning of Day 1. Then, as Pant reined into the English bowling attack, he quietly did his second-fiddle job to perfection. Their partnership was worth 222 runs off 239 balls; Jadeja scored 68 off 144 in that. He made sure to see through the last few overs on Day 1 after Pant and Shardul Thakur’s dismissals and carried on on Day 2.

He had barely made any major error until one ball before reaching his century, when on 92, he flayed outside off-stump to Broad and nicked it, but, to his fortunes, the ball brushed Joe Root’s fingertips and went for a four; an innings of such quality deserved that kind of luck.

Jadeja recorded his first Test ton in 2018 and has been in incredible form since: Since the start of 2018, Jadeja has scored 1324 runs at an average of 47.
