One of the most destructive and fearless batsmen in cricket history, Virender Sehwag, has hailed Virat Kohli as the most ‘dangerous’ batsman in world cricket. Sehwag, who is the only Indian batsman to reach the 300-run mark in Test cricket, said that there are many destructive batsmen at the moment but Virat Kohli is the most dangerous.

“There are a lot of batsmen, but at the moment, I think, Kohli is the most dangerous of them all. There is AB de Villiers, David Warner, but the way Virat is playing, the way he is scoring runs — he scored two hundreds in this IPL, he is the most dangerous at the moment,” Virender Sehwag was quoted saying.

When asked about Kohli’s comparison with Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag said that we should not compare Kohli and Tendulkar as they played in different eras.

“No one should compare two cricketers. People used to compare me with Tendulkar, me with Viv Richards, that’s not fair. The era is not the same. I don’t think we should compare Kohli with Tendulkar,” Sehwag said.
