The couple dated for a long time before they tied the knots with each other in a dreamy wedding in the year 2017. Recently, the cricketer admitted that Anushka has changed a lot in him in professional and personal ways. He quoted that he curbed all his aggression after marriage.
In the interview, Virat Kohli also revealed the story of what happened when they first met with each other to shoot for a commercial advertisement of a shampoo. While Kohli was relatively new to the field, Anushka was professional and thus, he was very nervous.

In order to ease out the situation, Virat Kohli cracked a joke at Anushka Sharma, which didn’t go down well for him. He claimed that he looked like a joker as the joke wasn’t good. He said:
“The first time I met her, I cracked a joke immediately with her. I was nervous and that is why I cracked the joke because I didn’t know what to do. Before meeting her, I was standing on set all jittery and nervous. I thought I was being funny. I just said something which wasn’t probably the right thing to say.”
He added:
”She is tall as well and she was told that I am not 6 feet or plus and ‘you must not wear massive heels or anything.’ Anushka walked in and was looking taller than me. I said, ‘Didn’t you get a higher pair of heels than these?’ She was like, ‘Excuse me?’, I said, ‘I am just joking!”
