Virat Kohli Paid His Heartfelt Tribute To Legendary Singer KK: The voice of love has gone forever. Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, who was in Kolkata for a concert, passed away last night (May 31). The playback singer collapsed after the concert and was rushed to a private hospital in the city. KK was declared “brought dead” by Kolkata’s CMRI Hospital around 10 pm.
KK was one of the most versatile singers in the Indian film industry and has given several chartbusters hits during his glorious career. He had recorded songs in several languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, and Bengali, among others.

Meanwhile, condolences are pouring in for the singer on social media, with people expressing shock and disbelief at his sudden and untimely death. Among many, former Indian captain and batting maestro Virat Kohli also took to his social media and shared a heartfelt note for KK.
In his Tweet, Virat Kohli shared heartfelt condolences for KK’s family and closed ones as he paid his tribute to the legendary singer. He wrote:
“Lost a magnificent singer of our times and so suddenly. Condolences to his family and close ones. #KK”

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag also took to his Twitter and expressed shock and disbelief at his sudden death. Sehwag wrote:
“Tragic to hear about the passing away of KK after falling ill while performing in Kolkata. Another reminder of how fragile life is. Condolences to his family and friends. Om Shanti,”

Meanwhile, after the news of his death came out, many on social media shared glimpses from his last concert in Kolkata. Several people took to their social media to remember him as their teenage idol whose songs made out school and college lives even more memorable.
“Hum, rahen ya na rahen kal…” -in the viral videos, KK can be seen singing this timeless classic at Kolkata’s Nazrul Mancha on Tuesday, hours before he breathed his last.
