Virat Kohli, the Indian batting superstar, was his aggressive best during the IPL 2023 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium on Monday. Kohli got in verbal spats with former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir and LSG player Naveen-ul-Haq and the trio were fined heavily for their on-field antics on Monday.

Virat Kohli and his team Royal Challengers Bangalore received massive love from the fans in Lucknow as the whole stadium was chanting “Kohli, Kohli” throughout the game and even during the fight. The love was mutual as even Virat himself was seen fired up on multiple occasions during the game, making gestures to pump up the crowd and the fans obeyed him well.
While the fans loved Kohli’s energy, however, seems like his antics didn’t go down well with LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir and pacer Naveen-ul-Haq. It was first Naveen in the 17th over of the game who had a verbal spat with the Indian star before they had a go at each other while shaking hands after the match.
Later, after the handshake incident, things got heated up between Gautam Gambhir and Kohli as the duo came face to face after the match and had to be separated after an ugly verbal spat.
Meanwhile, King Kohli has finally reacted to the ugly fight but in an indirect way. Royal Challengers Bangalore via their official social media handle shared a video of the team enjoying their time after the amazing win. In the video, Kohli can be heard saying:
“That was a sweet win boys, sweet win, if you can give it, you gotta take it, otherwise don’t give it”.
Further, Virat also praised the Lucknow crowd for showering them with all the love and support during the game.
