After suffering a 2-0 loss in the ICC World Test Championship series against New Zealand, the Indian team has come back home and the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli has sent out a motivational message on social media after his failure. The Indian captain had a tour to forget in New Zealand as he could not register a single century versus the hosts.

The brilliant performances of KL Rahul helped Virat’s team win the 5-match T20I series 5-0. Since India had a bad record in T20Is versus the Blackcaps, it looked like India would easily beat the hosts in the other two formats as well. However, history repeated itself as New Zealand thrived the visitors just like they had done in the 2019 World Cup semifinal match.
They defeated India 3-0 in the ODI series chasing down big totals and defending small targets. And, they continued their momentum in the longest format of the game as well and they beat India to gain 120 points in the ICC World Test Championship points table. Virat Kohli accepted his team’s failure saying that they did not deserve to win given the way they performed in the New Zealand series.

Now, after returning India after a long tour, Kohli would look forward to his upcoming challenge; they are the Asia XI vs World XI series and the IPL. Both the series will have world-class players hence, Kohli’s skills will be tested once again. The right-handed batsman tweeted a motivational message post his failure in New Zealand stating that “Change is the only constant.” He even shared a photograph where he is looking down, getting ready for the new challenges.
