Veteran keeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha played a magnificent knock against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday (May 7).

Playing one of the finest knocks of his Indian Premier League career, Saha put up a stellar 142-run opening stand with Shubman Gill. Saha played a quick-fire knock of 81 in just 43 balls, which included ten boundaries and four sixes, with a strike rate of 188.37.  Saha missed out on an opportunity to score the 2nd IPL of his career.

Meanwhile, Saha has been receiving praise from all corners for his amazing performance. From cricketers, experts to fans, everyone took to social media to hail the brilliance of Saha.

Saha has had an amazing season so far for Gujarat Titans as he has carried his GT’s title-winning season in 2022. So far, he has amassed a total of 273 runs in 11 games with a strike rate of 137.19.

Talking about Virat Kohli, he became the first player to complete 7,000 runs in IPL history during RCB’s clash against Delhi Capitals at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday (May 6). Kohli scored his 6th half-century of the season however, his efforts went in vain as DC won the game by 7 wickets with 20 balls to spare.
