Virat Kohli Won Our Heart With His Birthday Message For MS Dhoni

The legendary Indian skipper MS Dhoni is celebrating his 40th birthday today and wishes began pouring in from midnight wishing Captain Cool. Though MS Dhoni likes to stay away from social media, the hand isn’t expected to respond to any of the wishes sent by the fans or fellow cricketers. However, every year, the fans make his birthday more special by posting amazing birthday wishes and tributes for the legend.

This year as well, as the clock struck 12 on July 07, fans went berserk and soon Twitter was flooded with birthday messages for MS Dhoni. From cricketers, experts to fans around the world, everyone took to their Twitter to wish Captain Cool.

Among many, the current Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, who is currently in England with the rest of the Indian cricket team for the upcoming 5-match Test series against the hosts, also took to his Twitter to wish his ‘skipper’.

Though the post was quite short, however, the picture shared by Virat Kohli in the post was a memorable one and it made everyone nostalgic. The picture was clicked after Team India lifted the 2011 World Cup. Sharing the picture, Virat wished his ‘skipper’ a happy birthday. He wrote:

“Happy birthday skip @msdhoni,”

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also wished Dhoni a “legend and an inspiration” via their official Twitter handle. BCCI wrote:
